Fig is also known as Anjeer. It is highly rich in potassium so it maintains a balanced blood pressure. It contains high dietary fibre which helps to lose weight. It mops up excess clumps of cholestrol in our body. Dired Fig contains phenol, omega-3 and omega-6 which makes our heart healthy. These fatty acids reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. It protects aganist the breast cancer and after menopause, the harmonal inbalance in women. It prevents hypertension.
